Discoveries at 2:30 am

As I sit here in my recliner on one end of my couch I've discovered something. I'm recovering from bilateral cochlear implant surgery and my biggest fear going into this one was being totally deaf as a brick when my processor is off. As I sit here in my little snoozy nest I've built on one end of the couch, the Border Collie is bathing at the other end. I can hear her go slurp, slurp, slurp....and...turning off that processor...not such a bad thing. ;)
